Today I am whipping up a batch of my favorite all purpose cleaner. When I say "whip up", it literally takes me less than 30 seconds to make!
I use this spray for:
counter-tops
sinks
stove
walls
bathroom
dusting
windows, mirrors and glass
and even to mop the floor
And the best part? It only costs about 75 cents to make!!
What you Need:
*A glass bottle with a spray top (I used an old apple cider vinegar bottle and attached a spray top I got at a local discount store)
*Distilled Water
*White Vinegar
*Your favorite essential oils (more on that in a minute!)
What you Do:
*Put 20-30 drops of essential oils in your bottle
*Fill your bottle 3/4 full with distilled or purified water
*Add 1/2 Cup Vinegar
Shake before each use
IT'S REALLY THAT SIMPLE!!!!
Selecting your Essential Oils:
Essential oils are amazing for cleaning and they SMELL GREAT! Choosing which oil you want to clean with isn't rocket science, but here are a few tips...
*Use an aromatherapy resource guide to select oils based on their properties.
*Through the fall and winter, I use a protective blend called On Guard to boost immunity. In the spring and summer, I like citrus oils like wild orange and lemon because they lift my mood!
*Pick oils that smell good to you!
*Switch it up for the season
*Experiment with different combos
There are so many easy cleaning recipes that you can make on the cheap. what are some of your favorites?
Blessings,
Kacey
