Everyone loves a good hot-cocoa bar in the winter... but why should winter get to have all the fun?
IT’S SUMMER TIME!!! And that calls for a refreshing twist to your plain jane lemonade. A Lemonade Bar is perfect for summer bbqs and get-togethers. Throw this fun drink bar together in a few easy steps.

1) Make a Homemade Lemon Simple Syrup
(recipe below)
2) Set out ice, water, mason jars for mixing and drinking ... don’t you just HAVE to drink lemonade from a jar?... and directions for mixing. (See below)
Optional: sparkling mineral water
3) Gather some fun add-ins; fresh berries, herbs, lemon or orange slices, essential oils (ONLY those approved for internal use). The sky is the limit!
4) Have fun with different combos of this
summer time fave!

To Make the Lemon Simple Syrup
To a sauce pan add:
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
Zest from 1 lemon
Stir to dissolve sugar and cook on low until syrup comes to a boil. Remove from heat and let cool.
Add 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice.
Store in a glass jar and keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 week.
To Mix Lemonade
To a glass of ice, add:
1/3 simple syrup
2/3 water or sparkling water
Squeeze of a lemon wedge
Optional add-ins
Stir and Enjoy!
